Breaking News! Kittens are here!!!!!

We mentioned a few days ago that kitten season has started. Yes it definitely has.
We have kittens at the Haven (4 King Charles Drive) now. They are currently going through their vaccination and desexing but will be available for adoption very very soon.
Come up this weekend and meet them. We are open for adoptions from 12pm to 3pm and on Labour Day 12pm to 2pm.

We look forward to seeing you and enjoy the long weekend!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
