One good sized double room to share with quiet professional woman in her fifties and her cat. Animal lover and keen gardener. Levin. 1950's bungalow, old but cosey. 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom. Furnished. Just bring your own bedroom furniture. Big yard in back. Close to town & amenities. Must be quiet and clean-living, keep room clean, do own washing and help with housework. I don't use satelite TV (just use Netflix & Amazon Prime) , but there is a sky dish. Prefer working person, but ok if not, as long as you can pay your way. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
