Orongo Bay Homestead Sesquicentennial
Orongo Bay Homestead, known as The First American Consulate, celebrates 150 years at the head of the bay this December. It's also the 25th anniversary of Chris and Michael's creation of a boutique lodge at The Homestead (so they're giving special anniversary rates to repeat guests and friends of locals). Any historical paintings, photos or memorabilia of the Homestead would be appreciated on a loan basis for display this summer. Email Michael (@) thehomestead.co.nz.
