The recall comes after a packaging blunder led to Beef and Cheese Pies being contained in Beef and Gravy Pies wrapping.
Here's what you need to know:
- Consumers with a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product.
- Products affected include those with a best before date marking of August 16 2022.
- The pie's batch marking is 16022 for outer packaging and 16023 for individual pies.
- The product was sold in supermarkets throughout New Zealand.
Individuals with a milk allergy should return the product to their retailer and email sales@pavillionfoods.co.nz or call 021 365 006 for a full refund. Any other concerns can be directed to Gluten Free Holdings Ltd on 021 365 006.

There is more planting to be done on Wednesday as well as some weeding. Most of the planting will be undertaken by a team from Porirua City and the aim is to plant 2500 stems during the morning. This is an impressive start to this year's planting programme at the Forest and builds on last year's very successful planting.
Rotary Club members will undertake some weeding and tidying up of last year’s planting.
This morning Taku blessed the final stage of the Te Ara Piko pathway. It’s taken some time to get to where we are today, through planning, tireless fundraising from Plimmerton Rotary who have raised $1.3 million of the total $5.3m budget, a stunning effort and we thank them for that.

It’s taken some time to get to where we are today, through planning, tireless fundraising from Plimmerton Rotary who have raised $1.3 million of the total $5.3m budget, a stunning effort and we thank them for that.
We now have this fantastic and much-loved walkway that is an impressive 5.25km from the Taylor Stace Cottage in Pauatahanui to Cambourne walkway carpark. It’s another example of what happens when a community organisation can take a literal journey with its local Council to create something that will endure for generations to come. Its accessibility for walkers and cyclists, young and old, means they can experience this beautiful and significant part of our city.
Along with Rotary, I want to thank Ngati Toa for their continuous support of the project; contractors Fulton Hogan; Tonkin & Taylor and the many consultants involved; it’s also important to recognise DoC, Forest & Bird, Guardians of Pauatahanui Inlet, PICT, Porirua Harbour & Catchment Community Trust for their input and support; and my mayoral predecessors, who have all backed this wonderful venture.
