Physical distancing

Communications from Tauranga City Council

Keeping a safe physical distance of at least 2 meters is essential to protecting yourself and others from the spread of COVID-19.

So, that means:

🚶‍♀️ If you are walking past others, keep at least 2m away from them.

🏃‍♀️If you’re running past others, keep at least 2m away from them.

🛹Skateboarding past others, keep at least 2m away from them.

🐩Walking your dog past others, keep at least 2m away from them.

🚴‍♂️Cycling past others, whether they’re pedestrians or cyclists, yep, 2 meters away from them.

And if you come to a narrow walkway, beach access point, alley way or bridge where you can't keep 2 meters away from them, give way and go one at a time.
