It's all happening: Alexandra Heaney’s light installation Sweep, the projection show in Masonic Park, food trucks, glow in the dark face painting, fuse drummers, neon cats and more. Wrap up nice and warm and don't forget Bayhopper buses are running on an extended hours schedule for the event. See you all at the Tauranga waterfront between 6pm and 10pm tonight!

The event’s programme of entertainment has been …View moreJoin in the winter fun at Tauranga’s light festival for everyone this Friday to Monday from 6pm to 10pm. The Strand and the waterfront will come to life with illuminated features, light installations, entertainment, plenty of food and more. The event’s programme of entertainment has been designed to run throughout each night so no one misses out. Everyone – from families and youngsters to young at hearts – gets the chance to attend the event when it suits them best. There will be no allocated show times, so you can come at any time you wish between 6pm and 10pm on all four nights, grab a bite from food stalls or from one of the many restaurants in the CBD and enjoy the entertainment and all things lights.
