John Young brand, approx. 20 years old.

Extremely comfy and due to moving house I am reluctantly letting this go. It has given humans and cats many years of use (and naps).

Very second-hand… but still structurally sound.

The wood features have some scratching, and fabric is faded with some marks.

The sides and rear upholstery are torn and tatty, due to sun damage and cat enjoyment. The single seater was particularly favoured and photos shows the worst damage.

Cushions and cat are not included!

Pickup only from Whitford until 27th Nov thereafter Drury.

Note: Items are large, bulky and will require sufficient vehicle for pickup such as van or trailer.

Price: $100

A free mobile shower and laundry service for homeless people has expanded its efforts in response to rising demand in the pandemic.

Orange Sky launched its second van in Auckland this week.

Operations manager Eddie Uini said the demand for services doubled during the Covid-19 lockdown.

“Before Covid hit our first van was doing nine shifts a week, once we got to level 2 we were doing 17 shifts a week with our first van,” he said.

“That’s pretty much our maximum capacity, and we were still getting emails from places further south, out west and on the North Shore.”

The new van will operate in Manurewa, Papakura, Glen Eden and Auckland CBD.

It will allow Orange Sky to increase its availability from 17 to 25 shifts a week.

Uini said a lot of families have starting using Orange Sky’s services in Manurewa, Papakura and Onehunga.

“If they can save another 20 or 30 dollars at the laundromat, that’s another 20 or 30 dollars for food on the table,” he said.

Orange Sky wants locals to name the new van in honour of a local hero who’s helped make a difference in the community.

Comment below your idea for what the new van should be called.

Kiwis are now able to download their Covid vaccination certificate, called 'My Vaccine Pass'.

Anyone who is fully vaccinated can request a pass by visiting mycovidrecord.nz or by calling 0800 222 478. The vaccine pass can be downloaded as an image on your phone, added to Apple Wallet or Google Pay, or printed out as a hard copy.

Covid-19 Minister Chris Hipkins has asked people to be patient and request their passes over the next few days, as the website has already seen an overwhelming demand since it was launched this morning.

Passes will not be required to access essential businesses such as schools, supermarkets, or pharmacies, but more details on how they will be implemented are expected to be outlined in the press conference at 1pm today.

What you need to know:

• You can request a vaccine pass at mycovidrecord.nz or by calling 0800 222 478.
• If you don't receive an email with your pass within 24 hours, email the My Covid Record team on help@mycovidrecord.min.health.nz or call 0800 222 478. Check your spam folder first.
• The pass will be required later this year to enter some businesses and venues.
• There are separate passes you can request for domestic use and international travel.
