Are locals picking up litter in your neighbourhood?

Georgia Forrester Reporter from Waikato Times

Hi neighbours,

How cool is this? These Te Aroha students recently picked up litter and rubbish in an effort to clean up their own community. The good deed was part of Clean Up Week 2018. To read more about this, click here.

Is this something that's been happening in Hamilton too? Do you know students here that deserve some praise? Give them a shout out here!

Some of the students said it just "wasn't cool" to litter and it was everyone's responsibility to keep their little corner of New Zealand beautiful. Which parts of Hamilton would you like to see cleaned up a bit? Share your thoughts in our replies below!

Share your New Zealand music memories...

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It's NZ Music Month and New Zealand really has some beautiful songs from artists that we call our own.

Whether it's April Sun in Cuba, Don't Forget your Roots, or How Bizarre or Bic Runga's 'Sway' - songs have a way of unlocking memories and evoking old feelings.

In honour of NZ Music Month, share a New Zealand song or artist that is special to you and explain why.
