The review is all encompassing with everything on the table from voting age through to party funding being critically examined. The govt should be congratulated on undertaking this long overdue review.

However here's the sting in the tail. While everything and I mean everything is being reviewed the govt has stated " the review will exclude the Maori seats which are off limits for any discussion or examination "

How is it possible to have a comprehensive review when a number of electoral seats are off limits for examination ???

The govt must think we're stupid to believe that politics aren't involved and it makes a mockery of labeling the review comprehensive and for the public to take the review seriously
