Has anyone else heard the really alarming story that in spite of all the mishaps (some that have taken lives) others really close misses due to shortage of staff; not long ago when Andrew Little visited, made a total mockery of that visit by for the time he was there - moved staff to places he visited so it "looked good"! How stupid could this be?
Badly in need of help; at our expense too often; yet all that is reported on Stuff and in the paper of the mistakes and deaths, yet they go and cover up how truly bad it is?! Has anyone else heard this disgusting but sadly not unbelievable story? How else are those at the top meant to know? I'm sure they become VIP treated if needing help, yet the truth of the real need gets covered over. I am sickened by this thought.
Please can anyone who can coo berate this as fact make a comment?
It came from a reliable source or else I wouldn't post it. If I was one of those staff members I just could not have complied with such a cover-up!

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
