Notice to repeat callers!
Hi Neighbours! I hope your all well. Sadly this message mostly isn't for you, however if your have any questions or requests for my services please get in touch (text or emails best). FYI There is very limited space for Christmas orders (as below sheds light) often people leave it till to late to ask 😔
While their are some creations on my profile - we can discuss what type of bespoke piece may suit your requirements best 😁
Now for the reason I'm posting....
It's for all the marketing places who have been repetitively calling me. Please do not waste your or my time as already asked, I'm not a business (as mentioned in the description of this listing and on the calls -this is a hobby) I enjoy to create and share the joy with the bespoke pieces I make - usually at a loss to me due to the amount of time spent on the pieces.
I have very limited time around full time employment, my home, family and family's sports, I need more time than I have, as most families do. I have to make time for orders and enjoy the opportunity to do so where able.
So as you can imagine I dont advertise (other than this listings presence) supply cannot meet the demand and no profit gained (bar the enjoyment of creating and seeing the receivers joy) If I charged a rate to run a business the cost would make it less accessible and less enjoyable.
Neighbours still reading?? Wow! I hope you at least enjoyed the cute photo! (Washing baskets are very effective cat traps)

I dance in the sky with green and gold, a spectacle few are lucky to behold; I’m best seen in the south, a celestial sight—what am I, lighting up the New Zealand night?

Slow Woven Textile Studio Open Day
Hi Neighbours! I am a weaver and fibre artist who works with natural fibres to create beautiful, one-off pieces inspired by the native plant life of Aotearoa.
Join me in my Ashhurst studio next Sunday, the 4th of January, for the Slow Woven Textile Studio monthly open day. You can learn about weaving, enjoy demonstrations and even weave your own cute and colourful mug rug to take home for free.
I share the studio with my dad, rural artist Graham Christensen, and his work will also be on display.
Sunday 4th of January, Open 10am-4pm
84 Glenburn Road, (off Napier Rd) Ashhurst.
Please note that number 84 is at the very end of Glenburn Road - so wind your way up the hill and it's at the very top.
The studio is open to the public on the first Sunday of each month.
