PN Brass Band - Musicians Wanted!
I am a member of Palmerston North Brass Band and we're looking for anyone who plays, or used to play, a brass instrument! We're a little light on players at the moment, so if you're interested in playing with us, we'd love to hear from you!
You can message me directly through Neighbourly, or find Palmerston North Brass on Facebook and contact us that way.
Also, if you've never played but would like to learn, or are thinking about getting your children started on their musical education, we can facilitate lessons as well through our Brass Band Academy programme.
If you'd like to check us out, we'll be performing at Explore Esplanade Day this Sunday, 18th April, around 11am on the Victoria Stage. We'll also have a stall nearby.
Poll: Are our Kiwi summer holidays helping us recharge, or holding the economy back? ☀️🥝

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
Brain Teaser of the Day 🧠✨ Can You Solve It? 🤔💬
