Do you need to be tested for COVID-19?

Lisa Knight from MidCentral District Health Board

Hi Tararua, how are you feeling?

Do you have a winter sniffle? Coughing, sneezing, runny nose, sore throat? Have you lost your sense of smell or taste? Feverish or short of breath?

If you have any one of the above symptoms we would like to see you for a COVID-19 test at your local testing site.

It’s free and the Tararua testing centre is available from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 12pm on Saturday.
If you need a test on Sunday, we have a testing centre in Palmerston North that you can also visit.

Please call Healthline on 0800 358 5453 to get an appointment.

For more information on COVID-19 in our district, please visit covid19.mdhb.health.nz...

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
