Have you ever missed the last ferry from an island in the Hauraki Gulf?

Kendall Hutt Reporter from Rodney Times

Hi neighbours. Have you ever missed the last ferry from an island in the Hauraki Gulf? How did you get back to the mainland - did the ferry come back, did the police boat or Coastguard get you, or did you have to pay for a water taxi? Fullers has said it has made less than 10 unscheduled sailings in the last three years to Rangitoto. If you have a tale to tell, you can contact me at kendall.hutt@stuff.co.nz. Thanks.
