Do you think the Albany Ward of Auckland Council should be renamed?
Do you think the name Albany Ward reflects the whole area it encompasses?
The Hibiscus Coast sits in the Albany Ward, as does the East Coast Bays and then the Upper Harbour Local Board, stretching west across to Whenuapai.
As part of a council review, the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board is suggesting a name change for Albany as it doesn't reflect the area the ward covers, or the communities in it.
But no one has a clue what to call it.
Do you have any better names that better reflect the whole area?
