Special Children's Christmas Parties in Hawkes Bay
Special Children's Christmas Parties held their Hawkes Bay event at the Pettigrew Green Arena in Taradale last weekend inviting over 800 special needs children and their caregivers to a fun day of free entertainment, food and also took home three quality toys to call their own.
Special Children's Christmas Parties have been organising these events for over 25 years across a number of main centres throughout New Zealand.
Now, every year in New Zealand, nearly 10,000 Kiwi children with special needs, challenging life or health circumstances are invited to a party like no other.
The annual event is made possible by many local businesses supporting this event including Neighbourly.co.nz.

New neighbour
Okay folks, if you feed your animals outside, you might want to rethink that. We have new nocturnal neighbours, inside Havelock North.
There is a very well fed brush tail possum up the pōhutukawa tree in my garden.
I don’t know where it’s come in from, but it’s in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, so keep an eye on your pet doors, open windows and doors and pet food.
I’ll be notifying council and DOC tomorrow.
Old woodern chair
Hi does anyone have any old (can be broken) woodern chairs with the spindle back. Or does anyone have any spindles lying around please they would like to get rid of. Many thanks
