* Tea Tree
* … View moreI heard a mosquito for the first time last night and went hunting for a repellent. It is that time of year again! Making your own repellent is simple and can make lovely personalised gifts. Good essential oils to use are:
* Lemon Eucalyptus
* Lavender
* Cinnamon
* Citronella
* Thyme
* Tea Tree
* Neem
* Geranium
Put together in a spray bottle:
- around 50 drops of essential oils of choice
- 1tblsp vodka
- 50 mls witch hazel
- 50 mls of water or vinegar
- Optional is 1 tsp of vegetable glycerin, which helps the mix to stay combined, but isn't necessary.
Shake well to combine.
Shake before use and spray on as required.
