We would like congratulate Eileen Thawley for being rewarded a Queen’s Service Medal (QSM) for service to Fire and Emergency New Zealand at the Mapua Volunteer Fire Brigade.

Eileen has the role of operational support. She Can do most tasks that a firefighter can do expect Hazmat & Fire.

Eileen has been involved for 29 years help with photos, cleaning, treasurer, watches over the station when we get a call out and mother hen.

Congratulate Eileen well deserved
