Cancer is NOT fun. But this Ride-on Lawnmower challenge will be.
We're calling on people to join with Nelson Tasman Hospice and Cancer Society Nelson Tasman as we take on this challenge as a tribute to support our local people in our care.

In 1 day, you will cover 86km... on a Ride-on Lawnmower (minus the blades).

YES! That is your challenge. To conquer the Molesworth track (from Molesworth Station to Hanmer Springs.)

Yes, it will be a long hot, dusty slog. Yes, you will be riding a lawn mower with no guts. Yes, you will laugh and curse and think you could walk faster than this (but you can't).

Yes, it will be hard, but this challenge is nothing compared to what cancer patients have to go through every day.

Join Cancer Society Nelson Tasman and Nelson Tasman Hospice and ride with us in the Mowsworth Rampage to raise money to help support our locals.

The Mowsworth Rampage is the coolest, longest, hardest and most gruelling test of endurance on a ride-on lawnmower that we know of. Are you up for the challenge?

Welcome to the second of this series of articles dedicated to helping you to downsize, declutter and rightsize your life, brought to you by Ryman Healthcare in conjunction with organising and decluttering expert Peter Walsh.

This time we are tackling one of the more challenging aspects of downsizing – what to do with gifts and heirlooms. Whether you need to free up space in your own home or are helping someone else to downsize, this is a task that can feel daunting and emotionally charged.

Although it might be tempting to box everything up and hide it away to deal with another day, that just passes the problem down the road to your future self or to your family.

Fortunately, there are ways to downsize gifts and heirlooms that honour and remember the past whilst enabling you to rightsize your life for the present day.
