Free medical clinic is organised at Union Health Pomare, 51 Farmers Cresent, Pomare on Sunday 23 September from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm. Two medical doctors will be on duty.

The closure of United Video outlet in Naenae last month due to seismic strengthening work meant the store's postal services it had inherited from Hillary Court in 2015 went too.
Naenae local Lew Coe does not use internet banking, so the loss of the bill paying service was "a hell of an inconvenience". He said Naenae was a working-class area and many of the mainly elderly community who used the service had no access to a car, little money to catch the bus or had mobility issues. Coe said the alternative bill payment locations in central Lower Hutt and Stokes Valley were too far away for many.

Noted sex therapist Lonnie Barbach suggests that couples use a scale from 1 to 9 to indicate how amorous each of them is feeling, with 1 meaning “Not at all,” 5 meaning “I’m convince-able,” and 9 meaning “Let’s do it!”
So, if your partner initiates and you’re not in the mood, you can say, “I love you, and right now I’m a 1.” If you’re not sure, you could say, “Right now I’m a 5. Let’s kiss and see where it goes.”
The more you can hear, understand, and respect your partner’s “no” about any marital issue, the more “yes” there will be in your relationship.
