Bus Replacements will not stop at Ava Station during upcoming trials
We’ve been running replacement bus services on evenings and weekends while upgrades to the Hutt Valley rail line go ahead. To improve the services, we’re trialling something new – a train from Wellington to Melling with onward bus replacement services to Upper and Lower Hutt. These new trial services will bypass Ava Station. Consequently, Ava station will not be serviced during the trials.
The trial times are:
Sun 10 March 7:00pm – midnight
Mon 11 March to Wed 13 March 8:00pm – midnight
Sun 31 March All day (6:00am – midnight)
Mon 1 April to Wed 3 April (8:00pm – midnight)
