A very useful vehicle for shopping and local trips. Has superb hill climbing ability and will manage all the local hills with ease. has 5 speed gears in drive system and uses a 900 watt/36 volt motor with full electronic controller. It has a very good suspension system with coil springs and shocks and is very comfortable to ride. Does 15 kph in bottom gear where it can be classified as a mobility scooter. All in good working order with all the data needed for future mods.
Uses 3 X 12 volt sealed lead acid 18 AH batteries which will need replacement (cost about $230). Complete with spares. Ideal project for those interested in electric vehicles. 2 Amp charger comes with it which charges it up in a few hours. Range? Well it went to Parakai and back several times and I live at the top of Te Kauri Place!
BTW it could be fitted with lithium batteries which would extend the range and improve the performance. Open to all offers as I would like it to go to a good home where it will be enjoyed.
