Looking for an older laptop
Good day! I am looking for an older laptop to run my home security system. My old one developed a fault which means that it turns itself off every hour or two. A dud battery is no problem as it will be mains operated to run my security cameras. All it needs is a working screen and a USB 2.0 port. The council won't allow them at the "Tip Shop" but I have all the gear to make sure that they are virus free and the system in independent anyway. I couldn't get rid of my old one, so now is your chance!!!

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
