Ainsley Darvell from Flying Kites - Kumeu

We are looking for a compassionate, patient and energetic person to be a peer mentor for 14 year old high functioning Autistic boy. He is looking for some support to help him build his confidence, try new things and have some fun. He loves Gaming (mainly Minecraft and Roblox), board games and all things Star Wars. He would love a companion when he plays with the dog, bakes, rides his bike or just hangs out at home. His Autism means that he struggles in social situations, and he needs a friendly face alongside him to help him get back out and about.

If you are reliable, encouraging and chatty this could be just the role you are looking for. This job is in Huapai and is 3 hours a week – ideally 3 visits in a week, but we are pretty flexible.
