organ recital

Jane from Kerikeri District

Bay of Islands Singers present:
“The King of Instruments”
An organ recital by Michael Bell
Sunday 17 October at 2.00pm
Turner Centre Auditorium

One of New Zealand’s fine young organists performs on the newly acquired Rodgers Inspire organ to be based at the Turner Centre, Kerikeri.
With its state-of-the-art 165 pipe organ voices in four different styles this is a truly amazing instrument which needs to be heard in concert.
Michael’s recital will include works by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Joplin and Widor. He will also talk about the instrument and demonstrate its various features and stops.

This is a rare opportunity to hear what Mozart rightly called the “King of Instruments” on an organ worthy of this title
Tickets $10 and free for 18 or under
