A little Life Skills help for our 3 to 7 year olds
Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you all know that the Kerikeri based, Illumination Workshop, has now gone live with their Mac's Patch website, www.macspatch.org... that supports children 3-7 years with easy to process skills for life.
Our debut offering has four beautiful short films with farm animal puppets sharing stories about resilience when changing comfort zones, learning how to compromise, staying safe around water and brushing your teeth. We support these stories with 16 activities to download and a variety of fun colouring sheets.
There is no sign up, no registration and it's absolutely free. We hope that it can become a valuable support for families who would like a fun way to learn some important things together.
Constructive feedback is most welcome on our contact page. Enjoy! :)
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
