Note: SH1 down to one lane at Loop Road Thursday night
The NZ Transport Agency says SH1 traffic south of Whangārei will be reduced to one lane at Loop Road from 6pm to 6am on Thursday night to enable ground testing to be carried out. The Loop Rd roundabout is due to be finished in 2021. There will also be maintenance workers on the bridges near Oaks Road and Portland Road at the same time.

Warrant to arrest: Tehau Creeks-McNiff
Police are working to locate Tehau Ernest Creeks-McNiff, who has a warrant for his arrest and is wanted by Police.
Creeks-McNiff, 19, is wanted in relation to a number of vehicle-related offences and is known to frequent the wider Northland region.
It’s believed he is actively avoiding Police.
