Recycling
Why does Council not follow Auckland's lead and hand out yellow-lidded wheelie bins for recycling and have collections every fortnight instead of weekly? It would involve hiring people to sort the contents but would avoid the windblown refuse clogging up our drains and gutters under the present bin collection system. If council were serious about pollution, they should do this instead of the second bin provided for glass.
