Break in
Just a heads up someone is breaking into cars in Flaxmere. Our car was broken into but nothing was taken, so obviously this person is looking for stuff to steal. They broke the side window of the left hand back door and left it ajar. Just keep an eye out for anyone hanging around in your area we live in Stanley Street.

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

New neighbour
Okay folks, if you feed your animals outside, you might want to rethink that. We have new nocturnal neighbours, inside Havelock North.
There is a very well fed brush tail possum up the pōhutukawa tree in my garden.
I don’t know where it’s come in from, but it’s in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, so keep an eye on your pet doors, open windows and doors and pet food.
I’ll be notifying council and DOC tomorrow.
