It looks like an email from Spark, telling the recipient (addressed simply as “Hello”), Spark is upgrading their email system, and to use the link to login. DON’T DO IT!
A few of tips for what to look out for with scams.
1) Not personally addressed to you.
2) not coming through directly from your account (I.e. My Spark or Powershop notifications).
3) if you click on the senders name the address isn’t from that company.
4) the email asks you to click on links in the email to take you to your account (most will say go to the website and login).
5) there is a time limit for the link or to act.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and the Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield announced the changes at a post-cabinet press conference on Monday afternoon.
Regions outside Auckland will make the change to Alert Level 2, at 11.59pm tomorrow.
Here's what you need to know
- A refresh on Level 2 restrictions and what it means for you.
- Indoor gatherings are now capped at 50 people, with outdoor gatherings restricted to a maximum of 100 people.
- There have been 20 confirmed cases of Covid-19 reported by the Ministry of Health since 9.00am yesterday, all in Auckland.
- If you have any flu-like symptoms, call the NZ Covid-19 Healthline on 0800 358 5453 or ring your GP.
- Find your closest Covid-19 testing location on the Healthpoint website

Southland father and son, Robert and Bobby Baird have recently received their forestry qualifications, proving you are never too old to learn.
While Robert has practical experience gained during four decades in the bush, he says vocational training like the qualification he has just done is helping keep people safe.
Competenz assessor Neville Muir worked with Bairds throughout their training programme.
“Bobby is very driven to succeed and very organised. He’s also very keen to continue upskilling his crew and there are a lot of different certificates still to do,” he says.
While Bobby is his boss at work, Robert turns back into ‘dad’ at the end of the day. “I give him a hand during the day when he’s got a lot of work on. We have a great relationship and it’s a magic thing to be able to do to work with your son.”

But I have a situation … View moreOk. This may be a bit disjointed and a rambling rant so I apologise in advance.
I ponder how the powers that be work. They (the government) have t balance budgets etc. They charge us tax. They try to find ways to increase the take to be able to pay for things. I get that. But I have a situation that defies my understanding.
Let me expand.
My family is a bit different. A lot of health issues. We have a daughter who is labeled as "high and complex needs". She requires us to help her with just about everything. Feeding, eating, dressing, communicating for her every need. So we do. She is an adult so normally she would be out and about with friends, getting her own life. But she can't she is dependent on us or others totally.
We also have my parents. Early onset dementia. Our house is small. So we got them a caravan on our back yard with the intention of being 'short term '. That was two years ago. They can't look after themselves as they would forget things. As we know anyway the rental availability and cost is ridiculous.
So basically we look after 3 adults fulltime.
I have a job but someone needs to be home to advocate, monitor and make sure all cares are done.
Now why I can't understand the government's logic.
My wife can't work due to the amount of appointments and organizing of different organizations.
Apparently the government will rather put all 3 in a home at $1200 each rather than help us look after them. So they can't pay my wife a minimum wage ($700 p/week approximately) but will pay $3600 p/week for strangers to look after them. Do you think that the level of care from the strangers would be half as good as ours?
So where's the logic?
