An Attack in Central Hastings yesterday

Rhonda Neighbourly Lead from Hastings Central

Thursday 11th of October just before 3pm.
Vicinity: Hastings CBD close to corner of South Hampton and Market Street.
A man apparently driving a Car towing a trailer chased another male who was walking on the footpath in Central Hastings. The driver chased the pedestrian along the road, and then got out and chased him into a house that the man ran to for protection. It is reported that the driver of the car when chasing the man into the house was holding something he was using as a weapon.
The police were canvassing the streets yesterday to ask if anyone saw anything to add to their search for the car driver.
If you saw anything that can help with their investigation, please contact the police.
I just wondered if my chance any of you were driving by yesterday and happened to notice anything that could help. You may have seen the car with the trailer and can give a description of the colour, make, model or driver etc. Sorry to report bad news, but figured it was worth a try in case someone saw something that can help.
