When Carmen Sutherland lost her job because the company she worked for shut down, she never expected she would be made redundant again less than a year later.

The twenty two-year-old was left out of work when her employer, Godfreys, went into liquidation last year. But shortly after finding a new job at a furniture store, disaster struck again for Sutherland.

Many of the city's younger residents are struggling to find full-time work, faced with more people competing for a smaller number of roles.
