Attached picture shows where I am - gold star. If traffic heading south-east on Lincoln St towards the Rifle Range Rd roundabout is queued back as far as the Caltex exit opposite that's very unscientifically "a traffic jam".
Mon, Tue and Wed this week dry and sunny.
Monday - no 8am jam but school traffic jam from 0830 until 0845 and for less than a minute actually stationary at 0835 but mostly moving slowly.
Tues and Wed - no 8am or school traffic jam at all.
Next week shows rain every day - will repeat the exercise next Mon, Tue, Wed and report back.
There were queues the other way for Forest Lake but that's another story.

The Hamilton Zoo Master Plan has been given the green light from city councillors, with eight giving it the thumbs up. Realising the plan would cost about $15.7m. What are your thoughts?

THE BADS ARE COMING !!!
In celebration of their first album in four years, Losing Heroes, The Bads, of course, must do what they love most; play some shows!
The Bads’ touring band holds a mighty punch of talent and experience featuring core members; Dianne Swann (Tim Finn, Dave McArtney, Flip Grater & more) and Brett Adams (Tim Finn, Tami Neilson, Rodriguez, Mockers, Gin Wigmore, Jan Hellriegel, Exponents). Also on the tour bus will be frequent live collaborators; Wayne Bell on drums, who has played with a huge list of people including Dave Dobbyn, Bic Runga, Greg Johnson, Gin Wigmore, Jan Hellriegel. Accompanying them will be the inimitable Dave Khan, a multi-instrumentalist who has played with Don McGlashan, Marlon WIlliams, and Tami Neilson amongst many others. New to The Bads’ touring troupe is Ben King on bass and golden vocals from bands; Grand Rapids, Narentines and Goldenhorse.
In celebration of the tour announcement also comes the video release of the spookily sci-fi fantasy music video for the first single, "Shelter Love", that is currently taunting radio playlists around the country. Directed and produced by local video maker, John Pain, known locally for his art design creative with bands Hallelujah Picassos, Bressa Creeting Cake, Dam Native and the infamous 95bFM logo.
