“If I hear music, I just want to dance – body seems to just move!” says dancer Audrey, 84. Poet Brian, 86, says “Poetry helps me to question and understand the meaning of life”, followed by a witty “– haven’t worked out what it means yet”.

Food is collected from supermarkets which is past its best by date. It is food that cannot be sold but is still good to eat. It will be mostly bread and some fresh produce and pantry food. We will not know how much or what produce there will be until it arrives. We are starting out with two days a week. You can collect free food from 12.30 pm to 3 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from the 10th of March. Bring your own bag or containers.

Just a heads-up. I have received what could only be described harassment by phone from people who say that are from a company called Global Logic. Do not talk with them and most certainly do NOT type anything into your computer under their instruction. They do have what looks to be a legitimate … View moreJust a heads-up. I have received what could only be described harassment by phone from people who say that are from a company called Global Logic. Do not talk with them and most certainly do NOT type anything into your computer under their instruction. They do have what looks to be a legitimate web page, but it is not. They rang more than 20 times in the space of about 40 minutes. As soon as I hung up they phoned back. Report this behaviour to netsafe, and phone the police who tried to tell me that no crime had been committed in this case as I didn't do as they had asked, but I reminded them that harassment is a crime and therefore I expect it to be treated as such. Good luck with this everyone, and stand strong.
