Let's show our amazing spirit and generosity and bring a donated item/items to Saturdays event.

Te Whānau Pūtahi Community Centre will be here collecting canned food/perishable items for their 2024 Food Drive Collection to help those less fortunate this festive season.

Items can be dropped off at the play trailer site at the event for their collection.

The city's new mayor is setting out his plan

Hamilton City Council is pledging to cut costs and avoid “gold plating” infrastructure as part of a new strategy to limit rates increases, but Mayor Tim Macindoe says central government support may be needed to meet a new national rates cap.

Macindoe said Wellington needed to be “a little more nuanced” and take population growth into account.
