Poll: Are you stockpiling plastic bags?

Georgia Reporter from Stuff

Hi neighbours,

Are you going out of your way to collect plastic bags before they become illegal in NZ? Some Kiwis have admitted they are stockpiling bags before they can no longer get them from supermarkets and petrol stations.

It's been noticed that some customers have been taking plastic bags for things like single chocolate bars and drinks "to save up".

Do you find plastic bags handy for bin liners? What eco-friendly tips and alternatives to plastic can you share with your neighbours? Leave a reply to share your thoughts.

Try this recipe with the kids to close off the school holidays

Health 2000 Te Awa (The Base)

Hi neighbours! Are you looking for a tasty-but-healthy treat to make with the kids for the last weekend of the school holidays? ?

These buckwheat cookies are great to make on a rainy afternoon and contain no refined sugar. They also contain buckwheat (which is a seed not a grain) making them gluten free! Yum!
