Former Hillcrest tenant slapped with $8000 bill over home ‘intentionally made dirty’
A Hillcrest tenant has been ordered to cough up more than $8000 to her former landlord after the Tenancy Tribunal ruled the property “had been intentionally made dirty”.
In total the woman has been ordered to pay $8855.66, including $1663 for rubbish removal, $443.07 for a skip bin, $2487 for cleaning, $2800 on wall repairs and $795 for lock/key replacement and window repair.
