ALPHA course running in Silverdale, starting 9 June

More than 200, 000 people in New Zealand and millions worldwide have attended Alpha and enjoyed exploring life, faith and meaning. Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to discover more about the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over 13 weeks (9 June to 1 September), with a weekend away in the middle.

Our course is held in 'The Masters House' community centre, 122 Masters Ave, Silverdale. The evening starts with dinner (provided) at 6.30pm, and a video and discussion time from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Your questions and perspectives are welcome.

Topics include:
Who is Jesus?
Why did he die?
Does God heal today?
How do I make the most of my Life?

Grant Kilby has always loved camping. His mum was director of health at the YMCA, and he would attend YMCA camps in the school holidays. “I think it was mandatory that I was there,” he jokes.

He went on camping holidays with his parents, and later, took his own kids.
