International Week of Deaf People, 23rd to 29th September
The theme is "Sign up for Sign Language Rights." Given the 20th anniversary of the CRPD in 2026, we are striving towards a better implementation of the CRPD at the national level through the linguistic human rights of deaf people. Sign up for Sign Language rights by working with your local and national associations to announce the achievement of a concrete goal for deaf communities today. World Federation of the Deaf - Jean is an individual member of this organisation.

From rugged campsite to 7.5ha resort
Grant Kilby has always loved camping. His mum was director of health at the YMCA, and he would attend YMCA camps in the school holidays. “I think it was mandatory that I was there,” he jokes.
He went on camping holidays with his parents, and later, took his own kids.
