Clyde street car park warning.

Keith from Hillcrest

Today I parked at Clyde street car park at 9.20. On a P 60 car park, I went across the road to my dental appointment. Paid the account at 9.58. I went back to my car and found a warning on my windscreen to say this is a private car park for Clyde street customers. Only and if I use it again I will be towed away or clamped. Then also on my windscreen is a ticket at 9.59 am for $65. I did intend to buy some bread from bakers delight but after the ticket I was not going to support the shops. Beware when using this car park. It is not P60 at all.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
