TERM 4 Creativity for Adult and Kids

Sylvie Bolstad from ARTMAKERS Community Artists Trust

All of ARTMAKERS options will guide you along with exploration and working in various media to unlock your own unique thinking ! Lots of media and techniques - drawing, painting, craft mixed media, illustrating to a theme, using symbols, and lots more. Everybody's art is special and this is a chance to just enjoy the journey without stressing - or feel you have to 'copy' to 'get it right'. Photocopiers do that better, so why bother ? What's your favourite piece of Waikato history?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Car parks inspired a milking shed design that took off around the world and became a piece of Waikato District history.

A hundred-year-old church and gravestones from the 1880s will also feature as the district turns the spotlight on its past for its first Heritage Day on April 20.
