Coming up next - an adult play that proves that when chasing your dreams it helps to be a little crazy.
On next at Riverlea Theatre, your warm and friendly community theatre venue, is Cosi. Cosi is a terrific play about madness, illusion, sanity…and theatre.
Cosi explores a life lesson for Lewis, a young director who takes on the
task of directing a play with the patients who live in a mental hospital
in Australia in 1971. As his life is touched by these extraordinary
people and his operatic production (Cosi Fan Tutte) lurches forward, we
learn, along with Lewis, that when chasing your dreams it helps to be a
little crazy.
Add to this that the demanding piece of opera in Italian is going to be
performed by a cast who only speak English and don't sing! And you have
a wonderful comedy.
Please note that this play is suitable for mature audiences as it contains coarse language and sexual references.

Poll: Do you use the district nursing service?
The health system has been accused of breaking the law amid sky-rocketing demand for community-based nurses in Waikato.
This comes as the supply of district nurses lags behind referral increases of more than 100%, leading to staff burn out and an “unprecedented” service failure.
Do you use the district nursing service? Tell us more in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).
