My son lost his riding buddy and is a little afraid to ride to school alone after being bowled by a car last term on his first solo adventure to school. So I guess I'm looking around to see if there are some kids out there that wouldnt mind if he tagged along with them to school and home again. We always see kids biking home so there must be some out there :) safety in numbers and that.
Thanks in advance community.

Does anyone know how you can overcame a recently acquired allergy to Feijoas? Any suggestions, other than the obvious (aka Don't eat them) would be much appreciated.

This month is all about supporting our young people, to encourage and empower them to not only be the change-makers and community builders of tomorrow but also the best versions of themselves. To listen to their perspective and remember that it’s not just about what we can teach them, but what lessons they can teach us. After all, the recipe for creating healthy, happy children includes a lot of the same ingredients for building safer, more resilient and connected communities.

The Roaming Giant, in Claudelands, and The Wayward Pigeon in Hamilton north, have been bought by Wellington Hospitality Group.
The venues are currently under the Lawrenson Group - founder John Lawrenson said he didn't intend to sell, but the offer was too good to turn down.
This is the first time the Wellington Hospitality Group has bought outside the city, head of marketing Joe Cottier said.
The new owners will take over from Monday, May 13.
