Woman dies after cancer X-ray reminder missed
A friend of a woman who died of cancer may receive an apology after Te Whatu Ora Waikato didn’t follow up on x-rays looking for the cancer that killed her.
The recommendation, released on Monday, came after the friend filed a complaint with the Health and Disability Commissioner in August 2020.
