Progress election results indicate that Allan Sanson will likely be re-elected as Waikato District Council Mayor and Noel Smith will likely be re-elected as Councillor for the Newcastle Ward (this is the ward name for Te Kowhai, Whathawhata, etc).
Final results will be announced later this week by Council once verified.
