We are delighted our grandson Caidyn has started work this week in full time employment. We have been very impressed with the time and effort Bobbin, Bruce and the team have put in as tutors at the Hamilton Branch. They have implemented training and efficient procedures that have strengthened Caidyn and his overall results. Caidyn tells us they have motivated and encourages him and have been great mentors over the past 8 months of the Pre-Employment Carpentry course. We are pleased to report that the playground at Willowbrook Park / Te Kowhai Village Green is being upgraded.
We have been working with the Waikato District Council to obtain as much funding as possible for new play equipment. The design document attached shows the plan of the new playground.

We have been working with the Waikato District Council to obtain as much funding as possible for new play equipment. The design document attached shows the plan of the new playground.
Please note there is a swing set, spinning bowl and other smaller parts to the concept which are not included in the attached picture that form this playground. (The green spaces / plantings shown on the design are for drawing enhancement only and will not be part of the finished playground).
A shade sail will also be added later when budget permits.
In the meantime, the old playground has been removed. The new playground is scheduled to be completed by the end of February.

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who has commented on this subject. Just a note from the Hamilton City Council to verify that submissions to its review on this topic closed late last year. The next step will be working towards a hearing where all of the submission will be considered by the council in the coming months.
