Feilding residents feel vulnerable with less police officers
The town's station is left with just seven officers after the "Project Balance" rural police restructure last year. Hundreds of frustrated Feilding residents have signed a petition calling for more police officers in the town due to concerns that Feilding has been left vulnerable.
The online petition, on the parliamentary website, has attracted more than 240 signatures so far, and will remain open until the end of September.
