Passed away peacefully on the early morning of Wednesday 28th December 2022 after battling a lengthy illness. Her best, most loyal friend and pillar of support, Jo Petrie was beside her holding her hand as she transitioned into the next realm. Gilly leaves behind her loving son Antony, daughter-in-law Karen, three granddaughters Jemma Marr, Samantha Martin and Mikayla Bigham, and six beautiful great-grandchildren. Gilly also leaves behind her brother Michael Harris, and his supportive children Juliet, David and Mathew. The family wish to sincerely thank Jo Petrie, John Turkington, and Annie Pegler for their love and huge support over the years. Also, a special mention to the incredible Team at Cascades Rest Home Hamilton who looked after Gilly during the last 18 months. At 11.00am on Friday 6th January 2023, a service will be held to celebrate Gillian‘s life at the Woodside Estate, 130 - 132 Woodside Road, RD4 Matangi, Hamilton.
