Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Southland Hospital, aged 81 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Ken, adored mother and mother-in-law of Deborah and Alistair Price, Mark and Pauline and the late Tony, much loved Nana of Olivia, Alice, Angela, Scott, Aimiee and their partners, and a loved great-Nana to her 9 great-grandchildren. Marlene’s family would like to invite friends and family to an informal celebration of Marlene’s life, at the West Otago Community Centre, on Saturday, January 7, at 1.00pm. Loving Nana of Joshua and Hayley, Simone, Kianna and Shane, Sid and Shelby, Nicole and Ben, Morgan, Hunta, and Talen. Beloved daughter of the late Eric and Marjorie Wray. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Neville and Mary (both dec), Colin and Verle (dec), Sydney and Margaret, Brian and Sharon. Beloved daughter-in-law of the late Gordon and Dawn Lockley. Courtney and Ryan advise with heartbreak that as the result of an unimaginable accident, their beautiful baby girl was tragically taken from them on the morning of Sunday 1st January 2023. Tilly was the best wee sister to Lainey. A loved granddaughter of Grant and Dianne Cambie, Alison Coxhead and Bert Treffers, and the late Mike Crowther. A treasured niece and cousin. Pauline died peacefully at Mary Potter Hospice on 29 December 2022, surrounded by love and close friends, aged 68. Dearly beloved partner and best friend for nearly 40 years of Marilyn. Much loved sister of Christine, Vivienne and Murray. Loved aunt of Anthony and Sue, Katrina and Chris, Anna and David. Great-aunt to the “lovelies” Isabella and George. Loved sister-in-law to Trevor and Sandra. Pauline was a loyal, loving friend to many, including the “tight five”. Words cannot describe our loss.
