Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 3 January 2023, in her 90th year. Loved wife of Colin. Loved mother of Wendy (dec), Mark, Andrea, John, Colleen, Justine and Louise. Loved mother-in-law of Cheryl, Steve, Colleen, Simon, David and Steve. Grandmother to James, Charles, Simonette, John, Timothy, Benjamin, Emma, William, Aisling and Edward.

A service to celebrate Irene’s life will be held in the All Saints Anglican Church, Hohaia Street, Matamata, on Wednesday, 11 January, 2023 at 11.00am. No flowers, by request, but a donation to Bowel Cancer Research would be greatly appreciated. Irene’s service will be live-streamed, please refer to watersonsfuneralservices.co.nz for the link.
